Let Nova Explain (“we”, “our”, “us”) publishes this website at https://letnovaexplain.com/. For privacy questions, write to contact@letnovaexplain.com.
2. Information we collect
- Newsletter: the email address you type when you subscribe, and the language of the page you used.
- Messages: what you send by email to contact@letnovaexplain.com.
- Technical data: a session cookie so the site works (language, security). If you accept analytics or ads, measurement or advertising partners may set additional cookies — see our cookie policy.
- Nova chat: messages you type in the cloud widget are used only to reply. We do not ask children for a name, age, address, or school. Do not type personal data about a child in the chat.
We do not collect payment cards or Amazon passwords. Book purchases happen on Amazon.
3. How we use information
To send Nova news you asked for, answer you, keep the site secure, understand which pages families use (if you allow analytics), and display ads (if you allow advertising cookies and AdSense is enabled). We do not sell personal information.
4. Legal bases (EU / UK visitors)
Contract or legitimate interest for essential site operation and answering email. Consent for the newsletter, analytics cookies, and advertising cookies. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time via the cookie banner.
5. Children
This site is made for parents, educators, and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Newsletter sign-up and contact are for adults. The coloring studio and chat are play tools: they should be used with a grown-up nearby.
6. Sharing
Hosting, email delivery, and (if enabled) Google Analytics / Tag Manager / AdSense process data as processors or independent controllers under their own policies. Amazon processes purchase data when you buy a book. We do not share your newsletter address with other publishers for their marketing.
7. Retention
Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Emails are kept as long as needed to answer and for a reasonable archive. Cookie consent is stored in your browser. Chat messages are not kept as a public profile.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to certain processing. Write to contact@letnovaexplain.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
